From Quark Gluon Plasma to a Perfect Fluid of Quarks and Beyond

چکیده
With high energy heavy ion collisions one tries to create a new forms of matter that is similar to the one present at the birth of our Universe. Recent development on flow pattern, initial energy-density and freeze-out temperature shows that most likely this new form of matter is in a deconfined state, has colored degrees of freedom and is more fluid-like than gas-like. In present paper we calculate estimations on the physical properties of this new-old matter. “We simply do not yet know enough about the physics of elementary particles to be able to calculate the properties of such a melange with any confidence. . . . Thus our ignorance of microscopic physics stands as a veil, obscuring our view of the very beginning.” S. Weinberg, about the first hundredth of a second [1]

Hypercentral Constituent Quark Model and Isospin for the Baryon Static Properties
So far the static properties of hadrons have been introduced in various models. The static properties of hadrons (charge radius, magnetic moment, etc.) are useful for understanding the quark structure of hadron. In this work we have introduced the hypercentral constituent quark and isospin dependent potentials. Here constituent quarks interact with each other via a potential in which we have ta...
متن کاملThe Fluid Nature of Quark-Gluon Plasma
Collisions of heavy nuclei at very high energies offer the exciting possibility of experimentally exploring the phase transformation from hadronic to partonic degrees of freedom which is predicted to occur at several times normal nuclear density and/or for temperatures in excess of ∼ 170 MeV. Such a state, often referred to as a quark-gluon plasma, is thought to have been the dominant form of m...
متن کاملHeavy Quarks in the Quark-gluon Plasma
Heavy-flavor particles are believed to provide valuable probes of the medium produced in ultrarelativistic collisions of heavy nuclei. In this article we review recent progress in our understanding of the interactions of charm and bottom quarks in the Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP). For individual heavy quarks, we focus on elastic interactions for which the large quark mass enables a Brownian motion ...
متن کاملO ct 2 00 8 The strongly coupled quark - gluon plasma created at RHIC ∗
The Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) was built to re-create and study in the laboratory the extremely hot and dense matter that filled our entire universe during its first few microseconds. Its operation since June 2000 has been extremely successful, and the four large RHIC experiments have produced an impressive body of data which indeed provide compelling evidence for the formation of t...
متن کاملModeling Magnetic Field in Heavy ion Collisions Using Two Different Nuclear Charge Density Distributions
By studying the properties of matter during heavy-ion collisions, a better understanding of the Quark-Gluon plasma is possible. One of the main areas of this study is the calculation of the magnetic field, particularly how the values of conductivity affects this field and how the field strength changes with proper time. In matching the theoretical calculations with results obtained in lab, two diffe...
متن کاملبررسی رویدادهای چند جتی در نابودی الکترون - پوزیترون
Analysis of electron – positron annihilation into hadrons in the range of energies above 60 GeV shows that apart from two jet events, there are evidence for three jet events that according to the QCD theory interpreted as a gluon radiation by a quark. However, the higher order diagrams lead to four jet events. In this paper, we study the fragmentation of quarks and gluons into hadronic jets . ...
